A Korean scrub massage, or Seshin, is a traditional spa treatment that involves exfoliating the body to remove dead skin cells, dirt, and impurities. It typically starts with a steam session to open pores, followed by a vigorous scrub using a rough exfoliating mitt (often called an "Italy towel"). The therapist scrubs the skin in firm strokes to promote circulation and remove buildup. Afterward, the skin is rinsed, and a moisturizing lotion is applied. This treatment helps improve skin texture, circulation, detoxify, and leave the skin soft and glowing. It’s ideal for those with rough or dry skin but may be too intense for sensitive skin.
